NAGA Las Vegas Competitors,
Like you, NAGA was extremely excited to return to Las Vegas on March 20, 2021. On February 17, 2021, Governor Sisolak announced that full-contact sports under the governance of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association would be allowed to resume. This included sports like wrestling. We prepared and submitted a detailed COVID plan to the state and yesterday it was denied. NAGA is not the only promotion this affects, all grappling tournaments held in Nevada during March and into April are being postponed or canceled. We are working diligently to bring our event to Las Vegas and appreciate your support and understanding. We are committed to safety and will continue to work closely with the local authorities to make this happen. Please review the updated information below and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
NEW NAGA LAS VEGAS DATE:
NAGA has rescheduled our Las Vegas event to May 22, 2021. Like many of you, we have had to cancel and rebook our staff’s flights, hotels, and rental cars. We are looking forward to coming to Vegas in May!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
We have already moved all 600+ competitors from the March 20th date to the new May 22, 2021 date. If you can compete in May then you do not need to do anything. If you are not able to compete in May please send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call us in the office (860-295-0403 EST) for a coupon code or refund.
There is no one more upset about this postponement than my staff and I, however, we look forward to seeing you in May.
President – NAGA
