2016 NAGA OREGON GRAPPLING CHAMPIONSHIP The event package includes details about the event in an easy to view (or printout) PDF format. The package contains: Travel information, the breakdown of divisions (age, weight, and skill level), a summary of the rules and point system, and more.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION Pre-registration closes at midnight on Saturday, March 5, 2016. For weight classes, age category, and skill level information click the red 'DIVISIONS' tab above. IMPROVEMENTS AND CHANGES FOR 2016
- NAGA is no longer accepting mail in registrations. Competitors will need to either pre-register or register at the event. Credit card and cash are accepted at the event.
- Those adults registering the day of the event must be registered and weighed-in by 12:00 PM. If you pre-register or register the day/night before, you can arrive up until 90 minutes prior to the estimated start time of your division. Some events have alternate schedules. Please always check the event schedule (click the red SCHEDULE tab above).
- Once a competitor accepts their weight and their registration card is turned in to bracketing, the weight can no longer be changed.
- Children & Teen competitors are guaranteed a minimum of two matches per tournament. If they are competing in gi and no-gi that is considered two divisions.
- Heel hooks are no longer legal in Adult Novice and Beginner No-Gi divisions.
- Earlier division start times. Children & Teens must be registered and weighed in by 9:00 AM (for most events. As always, check the event schedule for times related to that event).
CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS AWARDED
NAGA awards championship belts to all Children, Teen, Adult, Masters, Directors and Executive, Expert Division champions (Limit 1 belt per competitor per event). This award is unrivaled in quality and appearance.
SAMURAI SWORDS TO CHILDREN & TEENS WINNERS
NAGA will be awarding custom engraved SAMURAI SWORDS to all non-expert Children & Teen 1st place winners (Limit 1 per competitor per event). Custom medals will be awarded to all 2nd & 3rd place winners along with non-expert Adult division winners. Adult competitors who place 1st and win a gold medal will have the opportunity to obtain a samurai sword at the NAGA T-shirt booth for a nominal fee. All children (13 and under) who do not place 1st through 3rd will take home an award.
TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP CUPS AWARDED
NAGA awards customized championship cups to the tournament team champions. A cup can be won in: Adult Overall, Adult No-Gi, Adult Gi, and Children & Teens Overall. Please make sure your team registers under the same team name. Do not miss this opportunity to showcase the talent that your team possesses.
CHAMPION GI PATCH | FREE T-SHIRT |
All Children, Teens & Adults who place 1st in any of our Gi Divisions (White Belt through Black Belt) will receive a NAGA Champion Gi patch. |
All competitors will receive a FREE NAGA Competition T-Shirt whether you pre-register or not. The shirts can be picked up when you arrive at the event. |
